Last year Ryan swam at the Missouri Grand Prix and had a really rough meet. He swam in 7 events and had the following results:
100m Free - finished 27th, didn't make it out of prelims
200m Free - finished 12th overall (4th in "B" final)
100m Back - finished 6th
200m Back - finished 6th
100m Breast - finished 14th overall (6th in "B" final)
100m Fly - finished 17th overall (1st in "C" final)
400m IM - finished 3rd
Ryan was training very hard at the time, and said in the interview linked below that he was swimming 90,000 to 100,000 yards a week at the time. Someone else commented at the time that Ryan swam 12,000 yards a day every day of the meet. It does not sound like he is training that hard this year so hopefully he will not be as tired and will swim fast.
