Ryan's NCAA Championship Individual Results

I'm posting these as a reference in advance of the 2009 NCAA Championships.

2006 - Short Course Yards
1st - 200y IM (1:40.55 - still NCAA record)
1st - 400y IM (3:38.15 - NCAA record at the time)
1st - 200y Back (1:37.68 - still NCAA record)

• Ryan did not swim the 100y Back as an individual event, but broke the NCAA record in the first leg of the 400y medley relay. His time was 44.60, which is still the NCAA record.
• Ryan had the most points and was named NCAA Swimmer of the Year

2005 - Short Course Yards
1st - 200y IM (1:41.71 - NCAA record at the time)
2nd - 100y Back (45.65) Matt Grevers was 1st and, in a precursor to the 2008 Olympic trials, beat Ryan by only .03
1st - 200y Back (1:38.73 - NCAA record at the time)

• Ryan had the most points and was named NCAA Swimmer of the Year

2004 - Short Course Meters
3rd - 200m IM (1:55.62)
1st - 400m IM (4:04.52 - NCAA record)
9th - 200m Fly (1:56.35)

• In April 2008 at the World SC Championships, Ryan set the WR in the 200m IM with a time of 1:51.56. He won the 400m IM with a time of 4:03.51.

2003 - Short Course Yards
4th - 200y IM (1:44.58)
3rd - 400y IM (3:41.45)
8th - 1650y Free (14:59.18)
