According to this article, http://www.swimnews.com/News/view/6958, FINA has announced that Ryosuke Irie's time of 1:52.86 in the 200m backstroke on May 10, 2009 was not ratified because Irie was wearing an unapproved suit.
The suit worn by Irie was made by Descente and is called the "Aquaforce Zero."
Ryan Lochte remains the world record holder in this event.
