Mike Gustafson wrote an article about 5 storylines to watch at Worlds. The entire article can be found here:

Check out the #1 storyline to watch:

1) Michael Phelps vs. Ryan Lochte in the 200IM. Does it surprise anyone that this occupies the #1 storyline of the 2011 World Championships? While all eyes will be on Michael Phelps (Will his 200 fly be fast? Is he in shape?) and everyone else will wonder if Ryan Lochte will repeat last year’s 6-for-6 performance at the Pan Pacific Championships, my eyes are on the races when these two might swim head-to-head. If you remember, last year, Phelps scratched out of the 200IM. Swim fans were denied a match-up between Phelps and Lochte in the 200IM, and I hope the same doesn’t happen this year. It is the one event where we can see who is, truly, the best all-around swimmer in the world. If they both swim it, we’ll finally get an answer to that question. After all – this “Phelps vs. Lochte Rivalry” can only be hyped as a “rivalry” if they actually race each other.
