Right. I just wish they were closer, they have 2 flights to go including an all day flight. Team USA will be more than fine. I just feel bad it's 20 degrees warmer in Closer to China and Mr Florida hates to be cold.
they were supposed to have training camp in Japan, but moved it to Australia after the tsunami. Is Japan closer to Shanghai than Australia? my geography of that area stinks. I think their training camp before Beijing was in Singapore.
Well, that makes a lot more sense. Unless the training camp was in north eastern Japan I'm not sure why they would change it though. There are other options, Singapore is definitely one. A 9 hour flight seems like no fun just days before racing in World Championships.

Why is their training camp in a winter climate when Worlds is in a summer climate? Seems weird.
I'm not sure how they swim outside in the cold weather. I'm too much of a wimp.

just looked at a map and Japan is way closer to Shanghai than Brisbane.
Shanghai is 2 hours behind Brisbane and a 9 hour flight away.
